What is Launch Sunday?
Every Church has a beginning, and this is ours... and by "ours," we mean yours too! Launch Sunday is when a group of people, after months and months of praying, planning, dreaming, and preparing, finally get to say "open the doors!"
Over this last Spring and Summer, we've been quietly meeting on Sunday nights seeking God together, and seeing how He might direct us to bless this city. What became of that is "Maverick Church."

What does "Maverick Church" mean?
The word "Maverick" brings up a lot of possible definitions. But what struck us, outside of the typical meaning (somebody who's not afraid to go it alone and try something new), was the second meaning of the word; "Lost or Unbranded Cattle." We all get a little bit lost sometimes, don't we? In fact, we're all lost without God's intervention in our lives. Then God saves us, grows us, and immediately starts working through us to find other people who feel lost. And because we truly believe "nobody cares what you know, unless they know how much you care," our Mission Statement became obvious to us.
"Maverick Church exists to worship God and draw people to Him through what we say, what we do, & how we love."

Answers to Common questions.
What is a typical Maverick Church Service like?
- Services are about an hour long; half worship and half teaching with a few announcements in between.
- We Worship together through singing Biblically sound, engaging songs.
- We Learn together from the reading and teaching of Scripture.
- We Celebrate God's Faithfulness through Communion, Baptism, and Fellowship.
- There is a parking lot behind the Youth Arts Center and regular street parking all around.
WAIT, What about the Kids?
The Children of Maverick Church are the future, so they get the best.
- What program do you use?
- We use the "Grow Kids" program. We've found it to be fun, and most importantly, Biblically sound.
- How do I check them in?
- Check them in when you arrive to Church. We'll dismiss them after worship.
- What ages can go?
- Kids K-5th.
- Nursery: available at any time during service.
- Who are the Leaders?
- Our leaders are people who love kids and care deeply about their spiritual growth!
- We follow all state guidelines, and always have two trained and background checked adults working together in every room.
- How do I get them back?
- After service, head to their classroom, and they will be checked out and released to you.
