Matt's professional career began in ‘75 as an actor in the theaters of SoCal. In ‘78 he moved into radio broadcasting. In addition to being an on-air personality for 25+ years, he had the opportunity to program and manage numerous radio broadcast facilities.
During his ‘radio years’, as a free-lance talent, he landed roles including on-camera spokesman for Chrysler, Safeway, Intel and Hewlett Packard. He has appeared in major motion pictures and television feature films. His voice-over work has won him awards including an Emmy and several Tellys.

Matt’s Christian ministry days started in the early '90s when he helped launch the national non-profit ministry/organization, BridgeWorks. He developed family relationship curriculum and toured teaching the material as a national conference and seminar speaker.   He was Group Program Director for a broadcast group in San Luis Obispo, CA, a nonprofit, listener supported ministry with four radio stations along the coast of CA.    Matt also  was the Adult Ministries Director at Life Community Church in Paso Robles, CA. There he taught  classes promoting spiritual growth and strong family relationships. His special emphasis and training is in marriage and parenting.

He will continue his ministry here at Maverick Church  and we are so happy to have him join the team.
